Here is how to add “Open as Administrator” to the right click menu for Nautilus. Quick and easy to use.
Ok then, lets get started by opening the Terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and copy and paste the command below.
sudo wget http://www.thelinuxgeeks.info/download/libnautilus-gksu.so
Then simply copy the file to the Nautilus extensions folder.
sudo cp libnautilus-gksu.so /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0/
now to make the changes take effect use this command to stop Nautilus.
nautilus -q
Now to see the changes open Nautilus and right click on a folder to see “Open as Administrator” has been added to the menu.
